With reference to your letter of 18th April,
1935, regarding the China Motor Bus Co., Ltd., I am
directed to inform you that the Government is advised that
it has no power under the licence granted to the Company
to prevent more frequent services, subject to compliance
with the general traffic requirements of the Police.
The position in this matter was explained to
the General Manager of the Hong Kong Tramways, Ltd., by the Inspector General of Police on 15th May, 1935.
